Ras El Hekma 

It is a land spar jutting out into the sea, about 75 km east of marsa matrouh
Ras el Hekma is a well known place in the north coast .it is a land that stretch about 18 km into the sea.

At the end of this land located the villa of the king farouk the former king of Egypt with beautiful private lake called Hammam el Amirat the lake where only the princesses used to swim. 
And we have to mention that Ras el hekma was announced as a natural biological park to protect the environment. 

Including animals like rare ghazals, rare birds which emigrate from northern Europe in addition to natural medical herbs, Palm trees, olive trees……etc.
Ras el hekma is distinguished by the beauty and serenity of its beach.

خليج رأس الحكمة

على بعد 76 كم من مدينة مرسى مطروح . يقع خليج رأس الحكمه ذو اللسان الممتد حوالي 18 كم داخل المياه مما يجعله حاجزاً طبيعياً للأمواج والتيارات المائية .

يتمتع خليج رأس الحكمة  بطبيعة ساحرة ومياه هادئة آمنة مما جعله من أجمل المناطق السياحية بالساحل الشمالي الغربي.

وفي إطار البرنامج القومي لحماية البيئة الطبيعية فقد أتم إعلان مدينة رأس الحكمة داخل نطاق محافظة مرسى مطروح كمحمية طبيعية  بيولوجية للحفاظ على البيئة الطبيعية من حيوانات نادرة  وعلى رأسها الغزال والطيور النادرة المهاجرة من شمال أوروبا بالإضافة إلى الزراعات النادرة من النباتات الطبية والنخيل والتين والزيتون.
